Yesterday, Engine 7 and Engine 77 both fully staffed responded to Highland Park for a reported Dwelling Fire. While Enroute crews where notified that Assistant Chief 8 was on scene with smoke showing. Shortly after both Engine 7 and Engine 77 arrived as the 1st and 2nd due engines and started fire suppression operations on the first and second floors. Additional companies started to arrive and the fire was quickly contained and placed under control. Crews where on scene for about 2 hours before returning to station.
No injuries where reported and the fire is currently under investigation by the Middletown Township Fire Marshalls Office.
